At Averett University, navigating the admissions process isn’t just about applications and deadlines—it’s about experiencing the vibrant campus community through someone else’s lens. Mrs.Hernandez, formerly known as Ronisha Dunlap, plays a pivotal role in this experience. Having recently married this past summer, she brings both joy and dedication to her role as Campus Visit Coordinator. Mrs. Hernandez embodies strength, resilience, love, humility and so much more.
Mrs. Hernandez stands at the heart of campus visits, offering guidance, wisdom, and a personal touch that makes every prospective student feel seen and welcomed. Whether visitors attend solo, in a group, or during an Open House, Mrs. Hernandez ensures a smooth, meaningful experience. She is consistently available via phone or email, offering support without hesitation or complaint. She also is very diverse, in culture, background ethnicity, and native languages. You don’t get a lot of coordinators who have those types of skills these days. But for one of our most popular majors here, listen closely.
If interested in aviation, she helps coordinate visits to Averett’s Aviation Flight Center, complete with hands-on flight simulators. However, her role goes beyond logistics—she ensures that prospective students feel truly valued. Mrs.Hernandez embodies Averett’s mission of personal attention and commitment to student success.
Having worked with Mrs. Hernandez personally, I can attest to her integrity, humility, patience, and peaceful spirit. Her influence on the Student Ambassador is profound; there is never a day when her love and warmth go unnoticed. Her presence is a reminder that everyone who steps onto Averett’s campus belongs. So if you are truly looking for somewhere to come truly give Averett Central or the Vice President of Enrollment Management, Matthew Mann! And he will surely point you in the right direction towards Mrs. Hernandez.
